FIREARM TRANSFERS
At Boom Boom FFL, we make transferring a firearm (new or used) from another seller or owner easy.
All regulated firearms transfers include a $10 permit application fee that is required by the Maryland State Police (MSP).

We provide transfer services for both new and used firearms in Maryland. All firearms must be compliant with Maryland laws and regulations. Review the following to ensure your firearm is MD-compliant.

Handguns must be listed on the Maryland Handgun Roster or manufactured before 1985. ​

The firearm must be featured on MSP's firearms search portal

If you are a Maryland resident, a HQL is required to pick up your handgun and you will need to complete a Federal Form 4473 prior to your in-person appointment.

Complete your 77R on the Maryland State Police Portal. Keep your application and pin number handy for your in-person appointment.

We will contact you when your firearm arrives and inquire about the results of your 77R application.

Schedule
In-Person Appointment
During this in-person session, you will complete your ATF Form 4473. We will also run your background. Please bring a copy of your 77R application results and pin number.

2nd In-person Appointment
Depending on the final disposition results from MSP, which you should receive in at least eight (8) days via email, you will schedule a second appointment to pick up your firearms.
