This is an IN-PERSON RENEWAL Course that requires participants to attend the Classroom and Live-range portion *Using Your Firearm & Ammunition* If you are renewing BOTH your Maryland Wear & Carry and DC Concealed Carry Weapon Permit, this course will meet those requirements. *Maryland “RENEWAL CERTIFICATION” states the Applicant must receive a minimum of Eight (8) Hours of Classroom Training & Qualified on the Range with a Revolver or Semi-Automatic Handgun. App Fee: $75 Note: Renewal paperwork must be processed online through: https://mdsp.maryland.gov/Organization/Pages/CriminalInvestigationBureau/LicensingDivision/Firearms/WearandCarryPermit.aspx *DC “RENEWAL CERTIFICATION states Range Qualification (2-Hours) PLUS Firearms Safety Training Course / Pistol License Renewal (4 Hours min) - Includes D.C.-Specific Laws on Self-Defense Note: Renewal paperwork must be processed online through MPD e-Commerce Portal: https://mpdrequest.mpdc.dc.gov/Default.aspx The online option will allow you to complete the required form and submit it along with your payment for processing. In order to utilize the online portal, you need your username and password; and you must use the same email address that you provided to the Firearms Registration Unit during the initial Concealed Carry process. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY ALL SALES ARE FINAL -- No Refund; No Exceptions. I acknowledge and accept these terms. ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed on this facility, nor into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to the start of class, for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions! The document will also include a Firearms Safety Briefing and Range Safety Briefing.
