The annual requirement for SPOs Renewing DC License This course covers the 8 Hour Firearms Training and Range Qualification required for the renewal of DC SPO Licensing. COURSE LOCATIONS: This is an in-person course that requires participants to attend a classroom portion and live-range. · National Harbor Location, 6710 Oxon Hill Rd Suite 210, National Harbor, MD · Maryland Small Arms Range, Inc. 9801 Fallard Court, Upper Marlboro, MD COURSE LENGTH: 8-Hour Classroom Training & 2-Hour Range Qualifications IN-CLASS LIMIT: 10 Students STUDENT REQUIREMENTS: · Security Personnel must meet health and background screening requirements. · 1102.1 – Special Police Officers -- Must obtain Criminal History to be commissioned or employed as SPO · Students must bring a valid driver’s license or state issued ID to class with them for verification. · Students must arrive on time and be present for the entire duration of class. · COVID-19 Paperwork (provided in class) WHAT'S INCLUDED: · Classroom Instruction +Refresher on DC Laws, Regulations +Use of Force Policy +Firearms Qualification Course +Lead Poisoning · Course of Fire · Use of Firearm, Targets, Ear Protection and Eye Protection · Certificate of Completion WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED: · Cost and Use of 100 Rounds of Ammunition ($80) COURSE NOTE: · Open Carry is allowed - Employment · Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs’ (DCRA) Occupational and Professional Licensing Administration (OPLA) · For more information on visit: https://dcra.dc.gov/professional-licensing https://dcra.dc.gov/node/1423896

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY ALL SALES ARE FINAL -- No Refund; No Exceptions. I acknowledge and accept these terms. ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed on this facility, nor into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to the start of class, for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions! The document will also include a Firearms Safety Briefing and Range Safety Briefing.
